Communal State Institution (hereinafter CSI) "Secondary school №4 named after Keiki batyr of the Department of education of Arkalyk city" of the Department of education of akimat of Kostanay region is oriented on the education and training of students and development of their physiological, psychological, and intellectual developments, educational needs, considering their abilities and personal inclinations and abilities. All that is achieved by creating an adaptive pedagogical system, favorable conditions for the general educational, mental, moral and physical development of each student. The management of the school is based on the principles of unity of command and self-government. The general management of the school as a general educational institution is carried out by the Administrative Council, consisting of representatives of all participants in the educational process. Direct management of the pedagogical process is provided by the school director and his deputies for educational, methodological, educational and scientific activities.

The school has central heating, lighting, cold water supply, sewerage, dining room, gym, equipped classrooms. The library has in its collection 19071 copies of textbooks and 1917 copies of methodological literature.

The school has two computer classes for 30 students with Internet access. There are 33 classrooms with computers.

CSI "Secondary school №4 named after Keiki batyr of the Department of education of Arkalyk city" plays an important role in the territorial educational system and socio-cultural infrastructure:

  • In the microdistrict of the school there is a sports complex "Qairat", where students of grades 5-11 are engaged in sports.
  • Education on the Law is carried out through the local club "Zhas ququq qorgaushi" (Young Lawyer).
  • Sports and military club "Batyr" promotes the development of patriotic education.
  • The school promotes the development of general education programs or their individual sections in the form of self-education.
  • The school has different clubs as well as sports clubs, where 570 children participate and they have the opportunity to self-actualize, which is confirmed by the results of the participation of the club members in various competitions and shows of the city and regional scale and received certificates, diplomas, prizes.

For the fruitful organization of methodological work in the school, a methodological Council has been established and operates, which includes the heads of subject methodological associations.

Characteristics of the educational process organization in the school.

 

Educational process is organized in 49 classroom sets in the mode of a 5-day school week. The following conditions are created for the organization of the educational process:

 

  1. Classroom-based training system.
  2. Sufficiently qualified teaching staff, the quality and educational level of which is described above.
  3. The organization of the educational process in the school is based on the curriculum developed by the school independently in accordance with the approximate state standard curriculum, and is regulated by the schedule of classes.
  4. The school operates on a 5-day working week schedule. The duration of the academic hour in the 1st grade is 30 minutes in the first quarter, and in subsequent classes-40 minutes.
  5. The school carries out the educational process in accordance with the levels of educational programs of three levels of education:

 

Primary education (the standard period of acquirement is 4 years)

 

Basic general education (the standard period of acquirement is 5 years)

 

General secondary education (standard period of acquirement is 2 years).

 

  1. The content of general education in the school is determined by the programs developed, approved and implemented by the school independently on the basis of state educational standards.
  2. The school annually carries out intermediate and final certification of students in the form of an exam in individual subjects at the end of the school year, starting from the 5th grade, according to the decision of the Pedagogical Council.
  3. The organization and conducting of the teaching and education process is accompanied by psychological and pedagogical monitoring.

The school has a daily medical service center. Students of all ages regularly undergo precautionary examinations, as well as receive all the necessary precautionary vaccinations.

According to the results of the analysis of the school's activities, it is possible to identify a set of problems, the solution of which will help to bring the school to a new level of development:

 

  • school education should proactively ensure the social and economic development of society;
  • the school must be able to meet the new requirements of the state and society, including micro-society;

 

The problem of engaging students and improving the quality of training depends entirely on the strengthening of the training material and the material-technical base of the schools (the acquisition of information and of technical training in each office) and creating conditions for the full development of the individual, the educational environment, attractive and effective, appropriate social order, as well as a conscious attitude of parents towards learning and development of their children.

 

The problem of gifted children is also relevant. The enriched development environment necessary for them, meeting their increased cognitive needs and capabilities, implies an enriched content of training and a problem-research method of its development, which should also be reflected in the concept of school development.

 

One of the primary tasks of the school should be the issues of strengthening and expanding its material and technical base, which ensures the educational process at the level of today's requirements. The program for the development of school education should provide a formation of the necessary prerequisites, conditions and mechanisms for constant self-renewal, modernization in the direction of expanding the availability of education, improving its quality and increasing efficiency. In this regard, it is important to form a variable educational space on the basis of a city school.
